@tElizaRose @tw2113 I've been taking some time off/away from it in the late summer, but I've got some pieces (esp. for/from perspective) started:

@joealexlemon Great meeting you yesterday @InnovatPasadena. The ideas in your video dovetail quite well with the tenets of the . I bet you'll appreciate https://indieweb.org/podcast.

@Christo37433424 Your logs or even database may indicate better where it came from, but most likely it's a malformed received webmention or one without data. I've seen one or two in the wild, but unsure what may have caused it.
I thought it might be from me, https://boffosocko.com/2018/09/04/my-first-experience-with-indieweb-christopher-tomilson/ but the dates don't align.

@jgmac1106 @tmcw @joeahand
Lots of other good examples and prior art at: https://indieweb.org/read

@Johnicholas @noahzgordon Perhaps https://indieweb.org/silo-quits will provide ideas?
You could also try a POSSE strategy to stay in touch as you wean yourself away from silos as well: https://indieweb.org/POSSE
Having read the Webmention article, I suspect you know my stance there.

@hankchizljaw There's also @withknown & @WordPress which also have webmention support for site-to-site communication in addition to all the other tech @keithjgrant mentioned. Next we just need the microsub solution widely distributed https://aaronparecki.com/2018/03/12/17/building-an-indieweb-reader

@outlandishjosh I could easily see @getpantheon building IndieWeb stacks with @WordPress +Plugins or @Drupal or @backdropcms + https://www.drupal.org/project/indieweb to expand this type of decentralized web interaction in a way similar to @microdotblog

@HowellsMead For those familiar, it may be a useful shorthand, but it simplifies things too far. Webmention uses knowledge of prior history and abuses of Trackback/Pingbacks/Refbacks and improves on them.

@dixongexpat @eatpodcast Had you come across this yet? https://indieweb.org/Grav#Webmention
@voxpelli may be able to point out documentation or help as well.

@granderojo You might find some useful inspiration at https://indieweb.org.

@evertp After having gotten Webmention working, you might consider stopping by the IndieWeb chat to ask this question of folks like @aaronpk, @t, @kevinmarks, and others who might provide some guidance/suggestions. As a group, they've been able to shepherd 3 specs to W3C Recommendation in almost as many years. We could all use some help on so many different levels.

@essenmitsosse Sharp eye. There's an extension to webmention called vouch to guard against abuse. https://indieweb.org/Vouch

Brad, how can you not be logged into the IndieWeb wiki yet!?! You've got your own domain and you've got an IndieAuth endpoint. Click on the login link, put your URL into the field and authenticate. You won't get frog marched anywhere, I promise. If you have questions or need help troubleshooting how to login or editing the page, feel free to pop into chat https://chat.indieweb.org/indieweb/ and we'll all help you out! :)

@matpacker There's some documentation at https://indieweb.org/Workflow.
I also suspect that some of the WordPress/iOS crowd hanging out in micro.blog may have some experience with this.Searching in chat may reveal more: https://chat.indieweb.org/indieweb/

@jameshull We should be getting back to a more regular schedule for the LA area Homebrew Website Club soon if you're interested in some of this stuff: https://indieweb.org/next-hwc
