@kimberlyhirsh Today's bookmark certainly looks better than the prior ones!
You may find it helpful if you use your site like a commonplace book to bookmark articles/materials for your writing/research purposes. (I do a lot of this with posts saved in my drafts folder for later searching, writing, etc.) The bit about the bookmarklet may be particularly useful if you're not already using it.
Reminds me that I ought to finish that post about using my website for academic related research/writing...
Marty,This is a humongous amount of work you've put into all this and I find it both fascinating and useful. Thanks for outlining out all the details. I wish all the podcasts I listened to did a fraction of what you're doing. The best (worst?) part is that it makes me even more itchy to do some kind of podcast myself.
@kimberlyhirsh You might appreciate this while you're playing around with notes and bookmarks using Post Kinds http:/

In the LA area I've seen a few co-working spaces (usually run by working moms) that offer on-site daycare as part of their service, this way you can get some work done in a relatively professional setting, but still have your young one nearby if you want to walk over and check in on them occasionally or take play-breaks with them. Depending on your location and budget it might be a worthwhile idea.
@iamJeffPerry Glad you've got something up and running. Let us know if you need comments/interaction to test things out. What's the domain?
@guerinemily You should be able to get someone at the @Angeles_NF via their public info line: 626-574-5208
It looks better from the Pasadena side, but apparently still going. 30 acres/10% containment
