@CaltransDist7 Have things so drastically changed in the last hour and change that they've all been re-opened?! When I was forced to drive through this morning EVERYTHING was closed from the 2FWY to Sylmar.
The closures were for the protection and safety of crews battling the fire on city streets. We worked with CHP to open off-ramps when we could and those ramps have since reopened.

How about we make a worst case scenario plan now before this evening's rush hour to help conserve some of our precious resources? Particularly before we loose daylight which is going to compound things?

That's odd because I didn't see anyone battling fires in NW Glendale this morning *anywhere near* the Pennsylvania or Lowell exits. I have a feeling it was more like poor resource management and lack of communication. Can we do better please? :)
