I'm debating whether it's better to do a standalone plugin for read or just add it as a PR to the "like/bookmark/repost" set up in core since they're all so similar. I suspect they'd prefer it be separate from a corporate standpoint, but it could be much easier and cleaner that way.
I noticed the product mf2 on Watches, and meant to suggest putting a star rating set up on those posts too. I imagine you could cut and paste some code from your reviews plugin?
I think, for now, a standalone plugin is best. I think, over time, it'll make sense to start consolidating some of these things into a common library of plugins. Many of my plugins are extremely similar in their implementation.
I actually think that it'd be cool for the Watching, Read, and Food plugins to detect if the Reviews plugin is installed, and to enable publishing a record of the action *along* with a review (two posts in one go!).
So many ideas, so little time.
