There is currently no standard method to 1) disseminate such data or 2) import it into navigation apps. @waze map edits are crowdsourced. Streets can be marked closed by any interested user.

Some state and local agencies are already working directly with volunteer @Waze map editors to make sure closures are posted. Anyone with additional closure information can send us a message and we'll get it implemented immediately. #WazeCommunity

A major value of the system wound be to automatically steer drivers clear of mandatory evacuation areas. These systems should take into account the announcements by fire, police and other state officials.
