My fervent wish for #WordCamp in 2020 would be for all badges to show preference for featuring people's websites (over Twitter) and for speakers to say, "Contact me on/through my website" instead of saying, "Ping me on the birdsite."
#DoItWithWordPress #WCUS
@pauljacobson It's not just for the US Camp, but really camps everywhere. I tagged it with WCUS because it happens to be this weekend and many organizers of smaller regional camps are all present and could begin those discussions now for the future.
@c That feels like it should be baseline for a WordPress conference… :-(
@smokey The challenge here is that it should ideally be part of Core WordPress, and that means persuading the broader community to adopt these technologies. I'm not a WordPress developer, so I don't have first-hand experience, but I have the sense that making significant changes can take time, and patience.

@c I'd love to see that prompt long before the next WCUS.
