Retrieve Running Time for listen and watch post kinds? · Issue #71 · dshanske/indieweb-post-kinds https://github.com/dshanske/indieweb-post-kinds/issues/71

For sites like Soundcloud, ITunes, Netflix, youtube (if it's available) it would be nice to retrieve the "running time" of the music, show, film, etc. to display as a running time in the UI for listen, watch, and jam types (rather than the published/updated) for other post types.

When not scrape-able, allowing one to simply enter a 0:00:00 time and a finish time and letting it display the appropriate running time (without entering a date) would be useful for these types as well. (I'm presuming it requires dates to calculate currently as I haven't yet checked....)

Suggestion: Store GPS coordinates in the recommended WordPress format/standard · Issue #29 · jtsternberg/DsgnWrks-Instagram-Importer https://github.com/jtsternberg/DsgnWrks-Instagram-Importer/issues/29

It would be nice if the plugin stored the GPS coordinates with the standard/suggested WordPress standard:
https://codex.wordpress.org/Geodata

This would allow the usage of secondary plugins (like [Simple Location](https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-location/)) to access the stored data and do something with it.

"Source" title and URL repeated within post · Issue #892 · PressForward/pressforward https://github.com/PressForward/pressforward/issues/892

Using the bookmarklet whether using "nomination" or "draft" the source of the saved story is put into the_content twice, once with a URL linked title and a second time immediately following, but with the plain text "Source:" prepended.

Is it possible that Mercury is adding one and the javascript in the bookmarklet is adding the other thereby causing the duplication?

New update causes tab issues with All in One SEO Pack · Issue #70 · TweetPressFr/jm-twitter-cards https://github.com/TweetPressFr/jm-twitter-cards/issues/70

With the recent update to stable on WordPress.org 5 hours ago (v7.7) a change somewhere in the code is causing problems in the admin interface with the All in One SEO Pack.

In particular one can't switch between the two tabs in AIOSP interface "Main Settings" and "Social Settings". Only the details on the "Main Settings" tab can be seen and attempting to switch to "Social Settings" only changes the url (which then ends with <code>&action=edit#aioseop_opengraph_settings</code>. Attempting to switch back does nothing but change the URL to <code>&action=edit#aiosp</code>.

Disabling JM Twitter Cards and refreshing the post admin interface allows AIOSP to work properly and reenabling JMTC causes it to break again.

Thoughts?

Also cross-posting to JMTC which may be the source of the problem.

Delete in "All Contents" not working · Issue #890 · PressForward/pressforward https://github.com/PressForward/pressforward/issues/890

On the "All Content" view [/wp-admin/admin.php?page=pf-menu], clicking the "x" icon (delete) removes the article from the view, but doesn't actually remove the post from the database.

Refreshing the page later brings back all the deleted items.

Privacy Flag in 3.0.2 not respected · Issue #20 · dshanske/simple-location https://github.com/dshanske/simple-location/issues/20

When using the setting "private", the post displays the svg pin icon and the text address of the location which is the behavior one would expect with the "text only" setting, not "private" which shouldn't display any location information at all.

Improved support for SNAP · Issue #39 · dshanske/syndication-links https://github.com/dshanske/syndication-links/issues/39

Many of the channels in SNAP are already supported, but most are currently missing. Support would include not only adding the SVG icons for them, but adding auto-import for displaying them in the list based on the storage location within SNAP.

SNAP currently supports the following:

Missing Icons · Issue #38 · dshanske/syndication-links https://github.com/dshanske/syndication-links/issues/38

I noticed that there doesn't seem to be an icon (or it's blank) within syndication links for SoundCloud. It doesn't display the default "share" icon, but shows up as a blank white spot. Maybe a typo in 'syndication-links/includes/class-syn-meta.php' as <code>'soundcloud.com' => 'cloud',</code>instead of 'soundcloud'?

Additionally, Ghost and Mailto are explicitly supported in the code, but use the default share icon rather than native icons (perhaps because Ghost doesn't have none?)

UI/UX: Don't display "Text Before Links" text when empty · Issue #37 · dshanske/syndication-links https://github.com/dshanske/syndication-links/issues/37

With the plugin set up and "Text before links" set (to something like "Syndicated to:" the text displays even when there are no syndicated copies. If there aren't syndicated copies, then ideally the text shouldn't appear.

I thought this had been previously filed, but don't see it in the queue anymore, so apologies if it's a duplicate, or fixed in current code, but not in stable.

Link to see nomination/draft from Bookmarklet finish screen · Issue #881 · PressForward/pressforward https://github.com/PressForward/pressforward/issues/881

UI suggestion

When using the bookmarklet to nominate/draft an article or source, it would be nice if the final page of the process in the modal would/could include direct links to open the interface to see the nomination, the draft, or the page for the RSS nominations respectively depending on the action taken.

In small(er) organizations this could help cut down on several seconds of workflow for those who might then begin work on the next step in the process immediately.

Column Width · Issue #3 · eholin/WP-Advanced-Recent-Posts https://github.com/eholin/WP-Advanced-Recent-Posts/issues/3

It appears that for some settings (thumbnail and dropcap definitely), that the column width value set in the interface isn't copied into the shortcode to be used when clicking on "Generate Shortcode".

It does work as expected however by manually entering `width="500"`, for example, into the shortcode.

Support for Emoji · Issue #2 · eholin/WP-Advanced-Recent-Posts https://github.com/eholin/WP-Advanced-Recent-Posts/issues/2

In some of the displays (Thumbnail and Dropcap primarily), if/when there is no image, the first letter of the title appears in the display block. (This is nice/simple UI display by the way.)

It would be interesting if when an emoji were the first "word" in a title if the emoji displayed instead of just an "&" which is the first character in most (all?) emoji strings. Bonus points if it could display the emoji in the block, and then remove it from the displayed title.

Example of current display when an emoji is the first "word" in a title:

Only secure locations allowed (Chrome) · Issue #17 · dshanske/simple-location https://github.com/dshanske/simple-location/issues/17

Using Simple Location Version 3.0.2 (most recent stable from WordPress.org) in Chrome (both desktop and in Chrome mobile browser on Android):

When I click on "Get Location" button, I get a modal window that says:

Only secure locations allowed (see https://goo.gl/Y0ZkNV)
This is on a "live" site and not a dev environment. I'm guessing it may be because I'm using http and not https while requesting my location?? I'm anything but a js expert, so this is just a guess...

In Firefox, it correctly asks "Would you like to share your location with this site?" and proceeds properly.

Redirecting despite settings · Issue #878 · PressForward/pressforward https://github.com/PressForward/pressforward/issues/878

Seconds to redirect user to source: 0 means no redirect. PressForward makes use of canonical URLs. If you would like to redirect your readers automatically to the items aggregated by the feed reader and published to your site, this setting will determine how long to wait before redirecting. The default setting is 0 seconds. The redirect setting can be manually overridden in the Edit Post page by editing the forwarding status in the publish box.

I've got the "seconds to redirect" set to 1 and regardless of whether I have the per post override set to either "Forward" or "Don't forward" all posts want to forward to the canonical URL. This is disconcerting particularly for the posts that I don't want to forward, and when this happens I'm seeing the page not only forward to itself (and therefore refresh), but it does it every few seconds continually which makes the page terrifically hard to try to read. Is it possible that it's not checking for the "forward/don't forward" toggle somehow?
