Junie B. Joes and the Stupid Smelly Bus by Barbara Park
4 stars out of 5
Read this when it showed up in my Little Free Library. I remembered the late Barbara Park from having read Operation Dump the Chump in my youth.
I expected this to be a bit droll for me being geared toward 5-6 year olds, but was surprised to find myself laughing out loud several times. If I run across other June B.'s in the future, I think I'd actually take the time to read them just for the comedy and what appears to be a small amount of social satire.
