@JonahRemnant @JonahNRO @NRO There's still a few quirks on the page, but WOW! What a drastic change in the look and layout. This is certainly a lot prettier and better laid out than before. Kudos!

@WestWingWeekly Did you change your RSS feed recently and not fix things properly? Your hompage advertises a rel-alternate link that points at a dead libsyn link while the explicit RSS menu link points to feedburner.

@wimleers @Google @drupal @timmillwood I remember doing an presentation at DrupalCamp LA a couple of years ago right after a Piwik (@matomo_org) talk and it seemed like an interesting solution at the time.

@Dries How awesome would it be if I could use @buffer not only to post to social media, but to post to my own website using the Micropub spec? https://www.w3.org/TR/micropub/

Congratulations Sarah on making a choice! You've made some awesome looking modifications to that theme.

@JonahRemnant @JonahNRO FYI, your main podcast page http://www.nationalreview.com/media/remnant-jonah-goldberg has links to several other feeds from @NRO, but shockingly DOES NOT include a link to your *own* RSS Feed which seems to be http://www.nationalreview.com/taxonomy/term/7126/feed for the record.

Have your web admin throw the following line into the header of your podcast's page so it's actually discoverable by feed readers:
<link rel="alternate" type="application/rss+xml" title="The Remnant with Jonah Goldberg" href="http://www.nationalreview.com/taxonomy/term/7126/feed">

You should also have them include a "Subscribe Free" or "Subscribe via RSS" with that link in the main part of the page along with all the other options that appear like iTunes, Google Play, Stitcher, and TuneIn.

I find that https://www.subtome.com has a great user friendly interface you might leverage to make subscribing via feed easier for those who prefer it.

RSVP invited · Issue #156 · pfefferle/wordpress-semantic-linkbacks https://github.com/pfefferle/wordpress-semantic-linkbacks/issues/156

When Brid.gy sends webmentions for people invited via a Facebook POSSE copy, the webmentions for these people don't show up properly in comments because `semantic_linkbacks_type` is set to "invite" instead of "rsvp:invited".

Manually effecting the change in the database provides the expected display. See: http://boffosocko.com/2018/02/14/homebrew-website-club-meetup-on-february-21-2018/#Invited

Something about his website makes me think that @weslinda might appreciate Homebrew Website Club in Baltimore next week: https://indieweb.org/events/2018-02-20-homebrew-website-club

@realkimhansen be sure to push one or two other messages to take advantage of eyes paying more attention ;)

@jackjamieson Now we know what you've been up to since your last tweet on January 9th. Kudos!

@mlncn @hongpong I suspected Dries would find you both via the wiki having blazed some of the trail beforehand, so I didn't want to extend the post to point out what I suspected he would find quickly enough.

Simultaneously, my intention was to do a "BCC Webmention" of sorts so that the two of you were at least aware of his original post if you hadn't seen it. Sorry if it read as spam to some extent, but I didn't really have specific posts on all of your sites that would have made a huge amount sense to highlight to get them in via a traditional mention or a reply. Thus I did a few homepage webmentions to get them in under the wire, so to speak.

I don't think it's a common pattern to ping someone's site this way, but given the precedent and prior art within email, it seemed like a somewhat useful way to send the notification without making it so explicit. I'm glad you received it and understood at least some of the intention.

I didn't see a webmention endpoint on Dan's homepage, so I'm glad to have the chance to explicitly @mention him on Twitter with this post.

@AaronGustafson yes, thanks for checking in. I've been sick and drugged up the past week. I'll try to get back to him tonight.

@realkimhansen I have a super-secret platform from last June built for her to host it on hiding around here somewhere... If I just had a domain to put it... ;)

Replied to a post on github.com :

Using the most recent update:
For public, it shows the expected location name with a link, a map, and machine readable gps coords.
For protected, it shows just the location name and the page source shows the machine readable gps coords
For private, it's still not saving properly and defaults back to public when the post is published.

.@DoorDash_Help @doordash As I'm looking at the large number of customer service replies, it looks more like your profit model is hoping customers experience inertia jumping through hoops so you get to keep the value of the damage you've done.
