For all my and @JohnsHopkins friends:
I highly recommend attending @IndieWebCamp Jan 20-21
https://2018.indieweb.org/baltimore

@Joseph_Koivisto @edsu I would also encourage you to think about potentially proposing an Edu-focused session that Saturday to help get a broader conversation going around IndieWeb and education: https://indieweb.org/Indieweb_for_Education

@Joseph_Koivisto @edsu I would heartily invite you all to come to in Baltimore Jan 20-21: https://indieweb.org/2018/Baltimore It will be an even better introduction than the narrower scope Homebrew Website Club.

@DrNomyn @mrkrndvs @GFThommo @willrich45 Interestingly the idea of online field work (aka sharecropping) has been around for over a decade now! https://indieweb.org/sharecropping
I dream of a day when the only online field work is being done by cultural anthropologists.

@anarchivist I've always thought that ideas were Earth-shaking too, but never to this extent!

@mrkrndvs Nice IndieWeb user page Aaron. Saw your note about posting via Android and thought this page would help if you haven't seen it yet: https://indieweb.org/mobile_posting

Aaron, you certainly shouldn't feel bad about having two (or even more)! If that were the case I'd be embarrassed at having created this wiki page: https://indieweb.org/multi-site_indieweb

It is good to think through the reasons for doing so though! Feel free to add your post to the notes there.

@realkimhansen @blaine @kevinmarks @dsearls @Padraig The microformats wiki has a huge amount of research under http://microformats.org/wiki/haudio and related pages. https://indieweb.org/podcast has some examples, ideas, and brainstorming as well.

@khurtwilliams First, do you know how to log into the wiki with your own website? https://indieweb.org/wikifying
Then you might consider adding some of your details or even a link to your article to https://indieweb.org/Untappd.

@joe4ska A while back I wrote a general introduction to for AltPlatform.org. You can find an archived copy of it on my site now: http://boffosocko.com/2017/07/28/an-introduction-to-the-indieweb/

@joe4ska If you're in the Pasadena area in the next few weeks, let's have coffee and I can give you the top down to make the intro easier. Until then you can take a look at the wiki https://indieweb.org/Getting_Started or if you're impatient try https://indieweb.org/Getting_Started_on_WordPress.
